Laura J. Snead

A native of North Carolina, Ms. Snead is an accomplished and strategic client account manager who has a strong history of building a relationship-focused client experience across the financial services industry. Her tenure at First Citizens Bank in Charlotte included the roles of vice president, private banking; vice president, premier relationship banking; and licensed financial sales manager. Prior to her work at First Citizens, she was a financial sales consultant with RBC Bank/PNC Bank. Her consultative approach to identifying growth opportunities and problem-solving in order to help clients succeed dovetails well with Oakworth’s Core Values.

Along with her love of travel, she enjoys the challenge of outdoor sports. Just as she helps clients strive to reach their goals for success, she has that same drive in her personal life and community service. She has chaired the Union County Girls on the Run board of directors; currently serves as vice president of finance for the Junior League of Charlotte; has competed in the IRONMAN® competition and is a marathon runner. Ms. Snead is also an instructor at Sweet Spot Studio, where she teaches cookie decorating.
