Best Practices for Oakworth Online

Tips for using Oakworth's online and mobile platforms

General recommended settings for Oakworth Online

  • Use Chrome rather than Internet Explorer whenever possible
  • Pop-Up blockers should be turned off
  • Cookies Settings should be set to ‘Always Allow’ or ‘Allow from websites I visit’
  • ‘Prevent Cross-Site Tracking’ should be turned OFF

Specific Recommendations for Apple/Safari Users

  • Try to keep iOS up to date or update as soon as possible after a new version is pushed out

Known Issues as of January of 2021

  • SSO sign-on from Oakworth Online to Weblink not working for some Apple users
    • Accessing the SSO via Chrome or Firefox is the temporary workaround (except for iPad)
  • Changing passcodes with the Forgot Passcode link must be done on a desktop/laptop device (not via the App) until further notice in Q1 2021
  • E-Documents cannot be accessed via Safari
    • Temporary workaround: Accessing Oakworth Online via Chrome
  • Bill Pay not accessible for some Safari users unless the following settings are in place:
    • ‘Prevent Cross-Site Tracking’ must be turned off
    • Cookies must be set to ‘Allow’ or ‘Allow from websites I visit’
  • The Oakworth iPad app has recently been discontinued, however, you can still log in at oakworth.com or the Oakworth Mobile App
