I have worked with Oakworth since 2012 – both as a commercial banking client as well as in private banking. Throughout this time, I have had the privilege of working with a number of Oakworth professionals across different departments. Regardless of who I am working with– it’s always more than a simple a business connection. Not only is there a high degree of service and attention to detail, but my relationships are personal at Oakworth. As my wife and I age, we plan to continue utilizing Oakworth’s wealth and advisory services. They offer the full life cycle of needs and do an excellent job providing guidance at every step.
This commitment to exceptional service was clearly demonstrated last year when I had an issue with my personal banking account. Unable to reach my private banker at that time, I called the chief credit officer at the bank, who had nothing to do with private banking services. I simply expected him to pass me along to someone else in private banking. He did just the opposite. He resolved the issue from beginning to end without me even having to be involved – never mind it wasn’t even his responsibility. This wasn’t an isolated occasion, either – it’s a standard of care at Oakworth that everyone operates under: it’s simply their culture.
No matter our needs, I feel like I am being taken care of from multiple directions. The degree of flexibility that Oakworth has in structuring solutions is invaluable. I asked them to get “creative” with one of our loans and was so impressed in how they were able to meet our needs. I keep coming back to the standard of care: timeliness, responsiveness – all invaluable. I think other banks try to do this, but many big banks cannot provide the flexibility that Oakworth can.
The combination of Oakworth’s unique culture and holistic model allows clients to satisfy all their business and personal financial needs in a single, integrated setting. While I know there are strategic processes in place, that’s not what we as clients notice. It’s the culture. Oakworth recruits good people and builds out from within.
