Mr. Norris, I have been reading your column for years, and have to say you are one of the most pessimistic people in the world. Will you ever write anything positive?
If you are reading this, you can tell I cleaned up the language and paraphrased your correspondence with me. However, it might not surprise you I get this question quite a bit.
We have so much access to information, it is virtually impossible to absorb it all. To that end, my daughter has a function on her phone that gives her the “important headlines” of the day, as determined by someone out in the ether. That is better than nothing, but the app sort of gets to control what she considers the news.
