Ms. Burns graduated from the University of Alabama in 2004 and began her career as a credit analyst at Compass Bank. In early 2008, she joined Oakworth Capital Bank as a credit analyst. Currently, she serves as Managing Director of Credit Administration and Risk Management. In this role, Ms. Burns is primarily responsible for monitoring the health and risk of the overall loan portfolio. In 2022, Ms. Burns completed the Momentum Executive Leadership Program.
In her spare time, Ms. Burns enjoys reading and spending time with her family. She is an active member of First Baptist Church Trussville and volunteers as a mentor with the Beyond School Walls program at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Birmingham.
