This week, four of us from Oakworth went to St. Louis to conduct some business. After an afternoon of talking shop, meaning banking, the gang all went next door for a cold one or two. In my past experience in St. Louis, this has always meant grabbing some form of Anheuser-Busch product. Miller? Coors? Samuel Adams? Not a chance, and certainly not if you are trying to conduct business. It would be analogous to ordering a pulled pork sandwich in the Middle East, and eating it with your left hand.

However, that was way back when, before InBev bought Anheuser-Busch in 2008, and all heck broke loose in St. Louis. Put another way, before the decisions were made in Leuven, Belgium, which is a nice bike ride from Brussels.
