Mr. Scalici is a founder and member of the board of directors for Oakworth Capital Bank. As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Scalici is responsible for the Oakworth client experience strategy (which includes business development support, digital and marketing), development and implementation of the banking, wealth, and advisory services strategy, performance of the Operations group, and driving the overall data strategy for the company. Mr. Scalici’s experience includes 16 years with Regions Financial Corporation. During that time, he had responsibilities as a branch manager, bank president, Director of Business Banking for the Central Region, and Head of Business Banking for the 16-state footprint. Mr. Scalici’s civic involvement includes being a member of the Downtown Birmingham Kiwanis Club and a 2012 graduate of Leadership Birmingham. Mr. Scalici’s previously served in leadership roles with the United Way of Central Alabama, American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, and several other civic organizations during his time in the Birmingham metro area.
