Mr. Rock joined Oakworth in May 2024 as chief information officer (CIO), responsible for establishing and advancing Oakworth’s technology platform using innovative solutions and a collaborative approach that ensures alignment with the company’s business objectives and compliance standards. He brings a proven track record of integrating technology solutions and managing teams across diverse sectors. He serves on Oakworth’s Client Experience Team, led by Sam Scalici, and will lead the bank’s newly formed Technology Team.
The Rock family has made their new home in Birmingham after relocating from St. Louis, where Mr. Rock served as CIO for Nimble, a company focused on the medical billing industry. Prior to his nine years at Nimble, he worked in various technology capacities with various governmental entities, including the Department of Justice and the Department of Defense.
A U.S. Marine, Mr. Rock served in Iraq. He and his wife, Krista, and have a baby son, Conrad.
