Mr. Brown is a relationship-focused professional with experience in wealth management & advisory services and middle-market banking. Prior to joining Oakworth, he spent more than three years with Truist Bank, where he participated in the Leadership Development Analyst Program and most recently served on the North Carolina West Middle Market Banking team. He also gained wealth management experience with Rockefeller Capital Management in Florida as a client associate. Partnering with clients to develop informed financial strategies tailored to their individual goals, Mr. Brown is especially passionate about helping emerging professionals build a strong foundation for their financial futures.
A native of Winter Park, Florida, he earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Florida, where he served as Student Body President. He was also recognized as a member of the University of Florida Hall of Fame and Florida Blue Key.
Outside of work, Mr. Brown is actively involved in the Charlotte community as a youth baseball coach with Dilworth Little League and as a member of Hope Community Church. He has coached competitive youth baseball for several years and is an avid sports fan who enjoys cheering on the Florida Gators, Atlanta Braves and Orlando Magic.
