Mr. Hayes is the Director of Deposit Operations for Oakworth Capital Bank. He started his banking career in 2000 at SouthTrust Bank. Prior to joining Oakworth Capital Bank, Mr. Hayes served as SVP of Deposit Operations at National Bank of Commerce for 15 years before being acquired by Centerstate Bank. Over those 15 years, he was the Deposit Team lead for 2 core conversions, 1 branch merger, and 6 bank acquisitions that included the state of Florida and Georgia. During this time Mr. Hayes was responsible for managing Deposit Operations which included Wires, ACH, ATM, IRA, and Lockbox Services. He also served as the System Admin for Teller and New Account Platform. After being acquired by CenterState Bank April of 2019 he served as VP Deposit Operations Manager.
