Ashley Tabb, CFP®

Ashley Tabb brings to Oakworth an integral approach to helping clients achieve their financial goals, encompassing wealth transfer and estate planning, retirement planning, cash flow analysis, risk management reviews, education planning, philanthropic strategies, and tax strategies. Before joining Oakworth, he was a principal and senior client advisor at 1919 Investment Counsel/Sterne Agee Trust. In addition to serving as a client advisor for high-net-worth families, trusts, and institutions, he headed the office’s planning group and was a member of the firm’s planning resource team. His ability to take a holistic, comprehensive view of each client’s financial landscape, particularly in generational estate planning, positions him well in helping Oakworth clients achieve their goals. 

Prior to his role with 1919, Mr. Tabb was with Wells Fargo Private Bank, where he served as a relationship manager for clients with over $1 million in balances. Previously he served as a private banker with Regions/AmSouth Private Bank, where he was recognized as a Chairman’s Club winner in 2008 and 2009. He is a Certified Financial Planner® practitioner and holds an Alabama life insurance license.  

Mr. Tabb has shared his time and expertise as finance chair and governance chair of KidOne Transport. He is also a member of the Estate Planning Council of Birmingham. He and his wife, Lucia, have three sons and attend St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.
