In a note to clients last week, I discussed the budding brouhaha between Apple and the federal government. In case you have been traveling in Nepal, the FBI wants Apple to unlock the iPhones of the San Bernardino terrorists to see what information it can glean. The company doesn’t want to do it, as it would require de-encrypting its encryption software, which it says would unleash a whole host of problems.
